As the official hotel partner of the German Basketball Federation (DBB), we support the charity in its commitment to promoting the sport of basketball in Germany and helping children's cancer wards and support associations. The aim is also to win over players, teams, fans and committed people as ambassadors in order to realize fundraising campaigns and events together.
Why does BASKETBALL AID exist?
Every year, around 2,200 children in Germany are diagnosed with cancer. Thanks to timely help, four out of five of these children can be cured. Since 2007, BASKETBALL AID has been committed to supporting these brave young fighters in their battle against cancer.
What exactly does BASKETBALL AID do?
COLLECT DONATIONS TO SUPPORT CHILDREN WITH CANCER. BASKETBALL AID is a non-profit organization that supports children's cancer wards and support associations through basketball campaigns throughout Germany. BASKETBALL AID is also committed to promoting the sport of basketball in Germany.

The purely voluntary association receives backing and support from active and former players and coaches. With a total of more than 500 members (private, clubs and companies), over €1,000,000 in donations have already been collected since its foundation.
